Raspberry Model B+


Raspberry Pi model B+ akhirnya resmi dirilis di situsnya yang dapat anda kunjungi di http://www.raspberrypi.org/introducing-raspberry-pi-model-b-plus/. Hal ini semakin membuat saya galau saja, belum kesampaian mengicipi model B sudah muncul saja model yang baru B+. Dari segi harganya diberitakan akan sama yaitu sekitar $35, antara Rp. 400 - 450 ribu mungkin sampai Indonesia.

Menurut situsnya, model B+ ini akan memiliki chip aplikasi prosesor yang sama yaitu model BCM2835 buatan Broadcom, dapat anda lihat selengkapnya di http://www.broadcom.com/products/BCM2835. Begitu juga dengan RAMnya yang sama dengan model sebelumnya yaitu sebesar 512 MB. Berikut adalah daftar perbedaan dari model B+ dengan model B :
  1. Pin GPIO, dibanding model B yang hanya 26 pin, model B+ ini dapat mencapai 40 pin.
  2. Port USB, dibanding dengan model B, jumlah port USB 2.0 pada model B+ mencapai 4 port
  3. Slot Micro SD, pada model ini sudah tidak menggunakan SD Card, namun sudah menggunakan micro SD.
  4. Hemat daya, dibanding dengan model B, model B+ lebih rendah konsumsi dayanya, antara 0.5 W hingga 1 W.
  5. Output Suara, model B+ memiliki kualitas suara yang lebih baik
  6. Desain board, desain board dari model B+ lebih baik, mulai dari peletakan USB port dan jack 3.5mm.

Sebenarnya tidak ada perbedaan yang mencolok dari model B+ ini, dari 6 upgrade yang ada diatas, hanya perubahan SD card menjadi micro SD saja yang menarik buat saya. Pada saat tulisan ini ditulis, Raspberry ini belum sampai di negara kita tercinta ini.

Jika anda belum punya dan ingin mempunyai Raspberry Pi dalam waktu dekat, saran saya mending pakai yang model B dulu, karena tidak ada perbedaan yang berarti. Semua upgrade diatas sebenarnya dapat kita akali sendiri. Misalnya seperti jumlah USB port yang terbatas dapat memakai USB HUB untuk menambah colokan USB. Sedangkan jika kita membutuhkan GPIO yang lebih banyak, dapat membuat sendiri IO Expander dengan menggunakan MCP230xx yang dapat anda baca selengkapnya di https://learn.adafruit.com/mcp230xx-gpio-expander-on-the-raspberry-pi.

HackRF Mayhem Failed to Update - M0 Guru Meditation Hard

I was on Mayhem Portapack v2.0.1 and want to upgrade to the latest stable release v2.1.0. The update went okay using the web upgrade https://hackrf.app/. Macintosh Classic II Brightness Issue

The Problem My Macintosh Classic II suffers from an issue where the display CRT goes dim after a few minutes on a cold boot. Every time it happens, I need to crank up the cut-off and brightness  pot behind the machine to show the image. The Analyze At first, I thought it must be the brightness issue, so I searched for the Macintosh Classic analog board schematic to check the brightness line. I found the schematic from Bomarc, and the schematic is suitable with my board, since there are two analog board versions.  I started to suspect the resistors and potentiometer on the brightness line. This Macintosh version has software-controlled brightness, so the analog board will get a 22.25 kHz square wave PBM signal from the logic board to control the brightness. I checked and replaced some resistors and cleaned the potentiometer, but nothing seems to work. Fiberhome HG6145D2 Superadmin Login

Maybe some of you are using In**ehome ISP as your home internet and found out that using the provided login has minimal options to configure the router: user  user1234 I know it’s not the admin login, and that must be a full-control user account that can be used to control this router fully. So I searched and found some posts on the net and most of them are telling me to use: admin %0|F?H@f!berhO3e I tested it and it doesn’t work! But there’s more to it, you need to reset the router first by pressing the reset button on the side of the router. Then after resetting, you can log in using the admin superaccount! But keep in mind, never use the user log in again, because it will lock the super admin login until you reset the router again. Cheers 🍺
